When was the last time your filter had a sand change? As filter media ages, it accumulates debris which is not easily and effectively removed through normal cleaning procedures. If left untreated, this can lead to the replacement of the media when the filtration efficiency is reduced to a point where it is no longer adequate. Sand filters down to 15 microns. Sand changes should be completed every 5-7 years in order to keep your filtration pristine and enable your filter to work to its optimum and make sure that it traps all undesirables and returns filtered water to the pool. You can purchase the sand and change this yourself or book our service team in to do it for you.
