Aquanort Pools is proud to present The Northern Retreat, a bespoke 7m x 4m custom concrete pool designed to transform a compact Marlborough backyard into a modern, functional outdoor sanctuary. This project showcases how thoughtful design, precise construction, and premium finishes can elevate even a small residential section into a private retreat perfect for relaxation, entertaining, and everyday family enjoyment.

Designed for Modern Marlborough Living

The homeowners wanted to create a calm, resort‑style escape within their town section — complete with a waterfall feature, a dedicated lounging zone, and seamless flow between the pool and their outdoor living pavilion. To achieve this, Aquanort Pools designed a rectangular concrete pool that maximises swimming space while maintaining clean architectural lines that complement the home.

A generous paved terrace at the end of the pool provides room for two sun loungers, capturing the afternoon sun and creating a dedicated relaxation zone. Glass fencing maintains safety while preserving open sightlines across the backyard, helping the space feel larger and more connected.
