A compact pool with a big impact

At Bradleigh Park, Aquanort Pools helped transform an existing outdoor area into a beautiful and functional space designed for swimming, entertaining and enjoying summer at home.

At the centre of the project is a 6.2m Compass Plunge Pool in Viridian, chosen for its clean lines and compact footprint. The plunge pool provides plenty of space for swimming and cooling off, while fitting naturally into the surrounding outdoor living area.

Aquanort Pools were involved in much more than the pool installation. Working from the customer's landscape plan, the team also supplied and installed approximately 10m² of Sand Charcoal 500 x 500 pavers from Urban Pavers, creating a clean, contemporary tiled area around the pool.

The landscaping was completed with a Pukaka stone retaining wall, adding natural texture and warmth while complementing the surrounding garden and timber elements.

To maintain the clean aesthetic of the space, frameless glass pool fencing was installed, providing the necessary safety barrier while allowing the pool and landscaping to remain visually connected.

For comfortable, efficient pool ownership, the pool was also fitted with a thermal blanket and MYT40 pool roller from BMH, along with a 19kW ElectroHeat heat pump, allowing the family to make the most of their pool for longer throughout the swimming season.

The finished result is a relaxed and inviting outdoor space where the pool feels like a natural extension of the home — proof that a thoughtfully designed plunge pool can completely transform a backyard without taking over the space.
